Dewi Prajñaparamita is a symbol of supreme wisdom and knowledge in Mahayana Buddhist worship.

Prajñaparamita is depicted sitting on a lotus in the vajraparyaṅka position. Worship of this Goddess is hoped to bring blessings of extraordinary wisdom and knowledge.

1808

The Singhasari Temple is a relic of the Singhasari Kingdom, located in Malang, East Java. Built in the 13th century, this temple served as a place of worship for King Kertanegara, highlighting the role of the temple as a center of spirituality and culture in ancient times.

1820

C.G.C. Reinwardt was a naturalist and the founder of the Bogor Botanical Gardens (s Lands Plantentuin) in 1817. In addition to focusing on botanical research, Reinwardt also played a significant role in the collection and management of various cultural and historical artifacts found in the Nusantara region. Reinwardt had a major role in bringing various historical items from Indonesia to Europe for further study by academics and collectors there.

1975

Prajnaparamita is part of the collection of the National Museum of Indonesia located in Jakarta. This museum is one of the largest and oldest in Indonesia, housing over 140,000 historical artifacts from various periods in Indonesia's history. The return of this artifact marks Indonesia's effort to reclaim its cultural heritage that has long been abroad, and it is an important part of the cultural diplomacy carried out by the Indonesian government since the time of independence.
